Features of CO2 air source heat pumps
Carbon dioxide heat pump is a kind of refrigeration device with carbon dioxide (R744) as refrigerant. It captures low grade heat source from natural air, water and other media through refrigeration cycle, and transfers it to high quality heat energy which can be produced and used by people. Different from conventional heat pump, carbon dioxide heat pump can produce 65-90°C high temperature hot water, which has unparalleled advantages such as energy saving and environmental protection

The compressor inhales low temperature and low pressure gas carbon dioxide refrigerant from the evaporator, compresses the carbon dioxide refrigerant into high temperature and high pressure supercritical fluid by doing work, and the high temperature and high pressure supercritical fluid enters the gas cooler to exchange heat with water. After the high pressure fluid is reduced by the throttle of the expansion valve, the heat in the surrounding air is absorbed by the fan in the evaporator and evaporated into a low pressure gas, which is compressed by the suction compressor, so that the hot water is produced by repeated circulation.
